Vagmine Logistics handled the recent shipment of a JCB Excavator from India to Uganda
Our X2 Elite member Vagmine Logistics Private Limited has shared with us details of a recent shipment it has handled.
The shipment consisted of a JCB Excavator model no 215 LC shipped from Vijayawada, India, to Mombasa and then transported by road to Uganda
The Port of loading was Mumbai, India and the POD Mombasa, Kenya, with final destination Uganda.
After offloading and clearing in Mombasa, the unit was taken by road, a total of 1260 km to Uganda.
Because of the long transit distance, it was imperative that the excavator was secured safely to the 40ft flatrack it was loaded on.
You can see by the images submitted by Vagmine that they did a great job in making sure that it was safely secured.
